Decided to contribute to that meme where you draw your cat in a dress. So here’s my 15 month old ball of energy, Toffee, wearing a dress.
HEY! Remember that Smash Bros style Homestuck fighter from a while ago? No? Well it’s still a thing and they’ve released a downloadable, playable two-person demo showing off the animations and basic moves for John. Please go check the project out if you’re into Homestuck, and give it a try!
At the very least, reblog this so that word about this project can spread around and some people can find it and lend help, because right now the whole thing is being created by just two animators, two programmers, and a color(er). They really really need help to seriously get this project going and every artist/animator or programmer who can pitch in is sorely needed!
Here’s the development thread: http://mspaforums.com/showthread.php?44921
Whoaaa why have I never seen this before wow this rocks my socks
We normally don’t promo things, but this is a very old project that I have personally tracked for a while. If you like to support the Homestuck fandom, and especially fan-projects, then this is a very good one that is certainly worth your time!
HOLY SHIT DAT ANIMATION AND THOSE VOICES
AND THE ART STYLE IS STILL REMINISCENT OF THE ORIGINAL COMIC
AAAHUFGHGDGHDG,F I WANT THIS SO BAD IT HURTS
Anonymous asked: Waaaah, how are you doing all those neat texture looking things on your pictures, aaaaah
I got a bunch of asks about the 3D effect and texture! Im really bad at tutorials and I know there are alot of 3D effect tutorials out there but I will try my hardiest please forgive me if this is really bad haaaaaa
+ in photoshop open your image
+ duplicate the layer! dubble click on the new layer to get this box to show up
+ on blending options click “blend interior effects as group” and then unclick B and G to get a pretty blue color shown in the box on the side [you can click and unclick R G and B to make different colors but I like the blue color~]
+ then edit -> free transform! and move it a bit to the right [or left or up or down ]
you get a cool 3D effect!
+ then go back to the first original layer and duplicate it again!
+Filter -> Pixelate-> color halftone!
+ for Max. radius I usually just put in a number from 4-10! play around with it until you get a dot size you like!
+ put the layer on multiply
+ Bring down the opacity
I erase the dots around the skin so only the shadowed areas will have dots on it!
+ then I sharpen the image Filter -> sharpen -> unsharp mask
+ then your donee! you can edit it with like filters and stuff after but this effect is over yea!!
